Varanasi, Aug 8 (UNI) Buddhist monks and students took to streets at Sarnath here today demanding that 2008 Summer Olympics should not be held at Beijing due to ''widespread human right violation of Tibetan population by Chinese government.'' Led by Tenzing Tashi, the protestors staged a massive demonstration at Suheldeo Park near the world famous Buddhist pilgrimage of Sarnath demanding that China should not be allowed to host the 2008 Olympics owing to the human rights violation and repressive measures by the Communist government against ''peace loving Tibetans.'' ''This agitation is in support of the massive demonstration being staged by our 14 leaders against China at the Jantar Mantar in New Delhi for the last 32 days,'' said Tenzing Tashi.

Holding placards bearing anti-China slogans the protestors, including Arjun Dampa, Dolama and Dava Kshoring also appealed the world community to help their cause for freedom from Chinese rule by preventing the Summer Olympics from being staged in Beijing.
