Special trains to Udhampur, Ajmer from Delhi to clear rush

New Delhi, Aug 8 (UNI) In order to clear extra rush of passengers, Northern Railway will run a daily special Express train between Delhi and Udhampur and also a weekly Shatabdi train from here to Ajmer.

The 0403 Delhi-Udhampur daily Special train will depart from Delhi station at 2345 hrs from August 10 to 12 and then from August 15 to 31, to arrive at Udhampur station at 1330hrs the next day.

In the return direction, the 0404 Udhampur-Delhi daily special train will depart from Udhampur Station at 2140hrs from August 11 to 13 and from August 16 to September 1, to reach Delhi Junction at 1015 hrs the next day.

Comprising of One AC Two Tier, Three A C 3 Tier, seven second class sleepers, six general second class and three brake vans coaches the 0403/0404 Delhi-Udhampur-Delhi daily special train will stop at Jammu Tawi stations enroute in both the directions.

The 2015A New Delhi-Ajmer Weekly Shatabdi train will depart from New Delhi every Wednesday at 0610 hrs from August 15 to September 12, to arrive at Ajmer station at 1330 hrs the same day.

In the return direction the 2016A Ajmer-New Delhi weekly Shatabdi special train will depart from Ajmer at 1550hrs from August 15 to September 12 to reach New Delhi at 2045 hrs the same day.

The Shatabdi Special Train will stop at Delhi Cantt. Rewari, Alwar, Jaipur stations enroute in both the directions, a Northern Railway statement said.
