Special 'Rakhi' envelopes now available at Post Offices

New Delhi, Aug 8 (UNI) The Department of Posts together with DuPont is offering special Rakhi Envelopes for sale through major Post Offices here on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan falling on August 28.

These special envelopes are made wholly tear proof and water proof and are available in size 11 cms X 22 cms to protect the Rakhi from damage.

They are light enough to keep the Rakhi mail within the basic weight limit as far as possible. These envelopes are available in four attractive designs pre-gummed with a peel-off strip seal mechanism for easy sealing.

The sale of Rakhi envelopes, an India Post innovation, are available for sale in the Head Post Offices and Sub Post Offices all over NCT Delhi at a uniform price of Rupee Five each.
