Nitish diverting attention from Govt's failure on relief:Rabri
Patna, Aug 8 (UNI) Leader of the Opposition in state assembly Rabri Devi today said Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was diverting the attention of the people from his failure to provide relief and rescue operation by making baseless allegations against Railway Minister Lalu Prasad.
Ms Rabri Devi said instead of making false allegations against Mr Prasad, the NDA government should focus on accelerating relief and rescue operation in the flood ravaged areas.
''Every one should keep the political differences at bay and work unitedly to provide succour to the marooned people,'' she said in a release.
''Mr Kumar seems to have lost his balance on spectacular performance of Mr Prasad in pulling out the Indian Railways from its dark era,'' Ms Rabri Devi said claiming the performance of Indian railways was at its nadir when Mr Nitish Kumar was its minister during the Atal Bihari Vajpayee regime.
