Naxal arms factory: recording of statements to continue

Bhopal, Aug 8 (UNI) Recording of witnesses' statements in connection with unearthing of naxalite-run weapons factory in the state capital remained incomplete on the second day of hearing before a district and sessions court here today.

Witness J K Pathak identified the weapons seized by police during the operation before Judge A K Pandey.

Five accused, including a woman, were brought in the court amidst tight security.

Recording of statements would continue tomorrow.

Police had busted a naxalite-run-weapons factory in a slum area on January 11 and seized ultra-modern weapons, including rocket launchers.

UNI
