Micro Technologies listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange
Mumbai, Aug 8 (UNI) Micro Technologies (India), listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange for its Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds (FCCB), the company said in a disclosure to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
The listing of the company in Singapore is considered a significant step forward, as it represents the success of bringing IT based security products platform from India to other Asian countries.
The company is already listed on National Stock Exchange (NSE) and BSE for its equity shares and Luxembourg Stock Exchange for Global Depository Receipts (GDRs).
As Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) are becoming mainstream investment tool, the listing of the company on SGX will broaden their suite of regional ETFs and allow investors to take advantage of the growing economies of India.
Shares of the company were up by Rs 6.55 at Rs 257 from its previous close immediately after the company's announcement. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE was 2,328 (1059 hrs).
