Konkan Railway cancelled three trains, regulated many
Panaji, Aug 8 (UNI) The Konkan Railway cancelled Mumbai-Mangalore Matsyagandha Express pair and KR2 Up Mangalore-Verna Express for today following a major landslide at a tunnel near Canacona railway station in south Goa.
At the sametime, it had regulated eight other trains on the Konkan route following the mishap last evening. The route is likely to be cleared this afternoon.
Nizamuddin-Ernakulam Mangala Express (2618 Dn) was regulated at Madgaon and its pair at Udupi yesterday.
The Mumbai-Trivandrum Netravati express pairs were regulated at Ratnagiri and Kankanadi respectively.
2629 Up Mangalore-LTT Matsyagandha Express was terminated yesterday at Karwar and as special train will be run ex-Karvar to LTT.
