Hot, humid conditions continue in Delhi
New Delhi, Aug 8 (UNI) Delhiites today continued to swelter under hot and humid conditions even though the mercury dropped slightly to 36.5 degrees celsius.
Despite the drop, the maximum temperature of 36.5 degrees remained three degrees above normal.
For the second consecutive day, the sun shone clear and bright in the sky. The bright sunlight, coupled with a high humidity of 80 per cent, led to continuance of hot and humid conditions for the third day in succession.
After the weekend's heavy rain and light rain yesterday, the rains have eluded the Capital for the last two days, which has led to a return to hot and humid conditions in Delhi since the beginning of the week.
The weathermen have forecast another warm and humid day tomorrow.
The Met office has forecast a partly cloudy sky during the next 24 hours with possibility of rain and thundershowers towards the evening.
