Different varieties of Bible on display

Chennai, Aug 8 (UNI) The largest and longest Bible, weighing 97 kg and 2000 metres long, and the smallest Bible, weighing ten gm, would be among 500 varieties of Bibles on display at the Chennai International Christian Book Fair to be held here from tomorrow.

The ten-day Fair, to be organised by STL UK and OM Books India, would showcase 10,000 titles of Christian books, novels, Theological resources, Christian music products, gifts and accessories, besides 500 varieties of fascinating Bibles, Organiser of the Fair Jose Thomas said.

In a release here, Mr Jose said high-quality imported Indian Bibles in gilt edges, genuine leather bound, personalised versions in sizes, varying from large church editions to ultra small personal pocket Bibles, will be available on sale at the Fair.

The Fair would also feature some exceptional Bibles like the largest, heaviest, smallest, waterproof, steel grip and personalised Bibles, he said. In the personalised Bible, the reader's name appears 7000 times, he added.

A wide range of music, ranging from contemporary, pop, rock, religious, southern gospel, instrumental and children collection would also be available at the Fair at best prices, he said.

The Fair would be inaugurated by Prateep Phillip, Inspector General of Police, Social Justice and Human Rights.

UNI
