Chandrababu criticises Congress for setback in OBC quota

Hyderabad, Aug 8 (UNI) Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President N Chandrababu Naidu today criticised the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Government for not doing necessary groundwork, resulting in the Supreme Courts refusal to vacate the stay on the implementation of OBC quota in Central Educational Institutions for the current academic year.

Talking to newspersons here, Mr Naidu said the Congress whether it was in the OBC quota case or reservation for Minorities in the State had not done the necessary spade work and hence both the cases were embroiled in court.

The TDP supremo said both the Centre and the State Governments had not provided supportive evidences to the Apex Court. They should take the matter seriously and ensure justice for OBCs and Minorities, he added.
