5 of family injured in cylinder explosion

Lucknow, Aug 8 (UNI) At least five members of a family, including a toddler, were grievously injured when a domestic gas cylinder exploded in Mandiyaun area of the Uttar Pradesh Capital tonight.

The incident took place in Paltal Chawni near railway line, where Rajendra, his wife Sarla, three-year-old son Tarun, kin Rajesh, Dinesh sustained sevre burn injuries after the domestic gas cylinder exploded inside their residence.

The wounded were rushed to nearby Urmila hospital, police said.
