Hot, humid conditions continue in Delhi, mercury rises to 37.3 Deg C
New Delhi, Aug 7 (UNI) For the second consecutive day, Delhiites sweltered under hot and humid conditions with the mercury rising further to 37.3 degree celsius, three degrees above normal.
With the Sun shining clear and bright, acute humid conditions prevailed in the city.
The maximum rose to 37.3 degrees celsius, from 36.7 degrees yesterday. The minimum also rose to 27.6 degrees C, one degree above normal.
After the weekend's heavy rain and light rain yesterday, it was a rainless day for Delhi today, which added to the discomfort.
The warm and humid conditions are likely to prevail for the next day or two with the weathermen forecasting warm and humid day tomorrow.
The Met office has forecast a partly cloudy sky in Delhi during the next 24 hours with possibility of thundry development in some areas.
