Govt's negligence led to bhooporattam agitation: Naidu
Tirupati, Aug 7 (UNI) The BJP senior leader M Venkaiah Naidu today alleged that Congress(I) government's negligence only had led to bhooporattam agitation in Andhra Pradesh, by the Left parties, in a massive way.
The Naxals, TRS and Left parties had brought the Congress to power in the state and the party had now failed to fulfill the promises announced in the election campaign, he said in a press conference here.
The agitation would be intensified further if the Congress party would not fulfill their election promises soon, he warned.
He said that the government should come up with a clear strategy over the government lands in the state.
Alleging that the government was alloting houses only to party sympathisers under the Indiramma scheme, he said the government should announce the list of eligible and rejected persons.
Strongly condemning the police firing at Mudigonda, which claimed seven innocent lives, he demanded that a sitting Judge should make an inquiry into the incident. The government was responsible over the incident, he opined.
