CBI announces cash reward for Congress leader's husband

Hyderabad, Aug 7 (UNI) The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) today announced a cash reward of Rs 25,000 to those who provide information about the whereabouts of Ravindranathan absconding Congress leader and husband of former State Women's Commission Chairman Mery Ravindranath.

The CBI released the photo of Ravindranath, who allegedly committed irregularities in insurance claims. A case was registered against him in 2003 in this regard.

Since then, the accused was absconding. A local court had issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against him.

Ravindranth had committed irregularities while he was working as the branch Manager of National Insurnace Company.
