Woman's body recovered from Orsang river in Vadodara

Vadodara, Aug 06 (UNI) Police have recovered the body of a 38-year-old woman from Orsang river at Bilia village in Sankheda taluka of the district, 45 km from here.

The deceased identified as Pujaben Ambubhai Naik, an adivasi, hailing from Ambapura village, is believed to have drowned in the river and the body may have been washed downstream to Bilia village.

Sankheda taluka has been facing heavy rains and police are investigating the cause of her death.
