Watch repairing owner goes to jail for breach of trust

Patna, Aug 6 (UNI) A local court here today handed down one year rigorous imprisonment to Ashok Annand, owner of a watch repairing shop, for committing criminal breach of trust with the mother of MP cum cinestar Shatrughan Sinha.

First class judicial magistrate of Patna court Sahab Kausar found Ashok Annand guilty under section 406 of Indian Penal Code.

According to the charges Shyama Sinha, the mother of Shatrudhan Sinha, handed over a watch for repaire on September 2, 1994. The watch, worth Rs. three lakh attached with gold chain. The convict reported that the watch was stolen and he lodged an FIR with the Pirbahore police station.

Later an investigation revealed the convict falsified the case.

the court also fined Rs 5000 in addition to jail term.
