Report of Congress aligning with JD(S) is baseless: Sidharamaiah

Hubli, Aug 6 (UNI) Congress leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Sidharamaiah today reiterated that the report of Congress aligning with JD(S) in Karnataka to form another coalition government was baseless.

Talking to newspersons here, he said it was Congress that was welcoming the local body elections. After failing to stall the elections further, Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy was left with no option but to welcome the elections.

''There is no possibility of JD(S) transferring power to BJP'', he said.
