Jaya condoles death of partymen in road accident

Chennai, Aug 6: All India Anna Dravida Munnetra kazhagam (AIADMK) supremo J Jayalalithaa today condoled the death of four partymen in a road accident at Kottur Vilakku near Ettayapuram in Madurai-Tuticorin Highways when a car in which they were travelling collided with a lorry.

In a press release here, Ms Jayalalithaa said she was extremely grieved to hear the demise of Kundan Perumal (60), Secretary of Ottapidaram Zone MGR Fans Association and father of Mohan, a sitting AIADMK MLA, representing Ottapidram constituency, A Durai(55), P Selvaraj (52) and Mariappan (48).

She expressed her hope that the seriously injured Suresh, who was admitted to a government hospital in Tuticorin, would recover soon.

Ms Jayalalithaa also expressed her heart-felt condolences to the bereaved families, the release added.
