'Indiawood' to be held in February next year

Bangalore, Aug 6 (UNI) 'Indiawood', an international exhibition of woodworking machinery, tools, accessories and products will be held at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) from February 29 to March four, 2008.

Organised by the European Federation of Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers (Eumabois) and PDA Trade Fairs, Indiawood would showcase the latest trends in woodworking machineries across the world.

PDA Trade Fairs Chairman Pradeep Devaiah said another event 'DelhiWood' would be held in 2009 to cater to the needs of North and Northeast regions.

He said the Indian Woodworking Industry was currently witnessing a phenomenal growth, especially with the construction boom across the region. An ever-increasing demand from the construction sector had spurred a huge demand for ready-to-use wood-related products and accessories.
