Govt to identify all non-local employees by Aug 31: Minister

Hyderabad, Aug 6 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Higher Education Minister and Chairman of the Cabinet Sub-Committee on GO 610 D Srinivas today said the government would identify all non-local government employees working in Telangana region by August 31.

Briefing the Press here, after a review meeting on GO 610, issued to repatriate all non-local employees from Telagagana region, Mr Srinivas said the government had directed all departments to submit the details of non-local employees by the August end.

The review meeting was presided over by Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.

Stating that the Chief Minister had directed all the departments concerned to issue transfer orders to 8718 identified non-local employees working in Telangana region, the Minister said the government had not announced any deadline to repatriate non-locals as per the GO.
