Jaipur, Aug 6 (UNI) In a bid to ensure better coordination between the organisation and the government in Rajasthan, the ruling BJP has constituted a seven member state coordination committee under the leadership of state president Dr Mahesh Sharma.

The decision to set up the committee was taken at the two day state executive meeting of the party which concluded in Kishangarh town of Ajmer district yesterday, BJP General Secretary Gopinath Munde told reporters here today.

Besides president Dr Sharma, Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, party Treasurer Ramdas Agrawal, Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria, PWD Minister Rajendra Singh Rathore, party state general secretaries Prakash Chand and Srikishan Songra have been inducted in the committee as members, Mr Munde said.

The party has also set up two committees for the preparations for the August 20 Kisan Rally New Delhi and proposed national convention of the party Yuva Morcha next month.

Mr Munde said that a large number of people from Rajasthan would participate in the Kisan rally which was being held to protest against alleged Rs 1400 crore scam in the Wheat Import and other ''anti farmer policies'' of the UPA Government.

Mr Munde had praised the functioning of the party government in Rajasthan and said that Vasundhara Raje Government had been doing very good work in the state during its three and half year rule.
