Apollo takes healthcare at doorsteps of Omani citizens

Hyderabad, Aug 6 (UNI) Apollo Group of Hospitals today launched the Apollo Telemedicine Services at the Apollo Medical Centre at Muscat, Sultanate of Oman.

Oman's Health Affairs Ministry Under Secretary Ahmed Bin Abdul Quadir Ghassani inaugurated the Telemedicine services in the presence of Indian Ambassador, Sultanate of Oman, Anil Wadhwa.

The telemedicine centre at Muscat, through the Apollo Telemedicine network would link the people of Oman with world-renowned doctors of the Apollo Group of Hopsitals.

The centre would offer the facility of seeking the opinion of expert Radiologists and Pathologists in the Apollo Group of Hospitals, which would help the patients going through complex clinical condition to take fast decisions, according to a release here today.

The Apollo Telemedicine network, the largest in the region, linking over 100 destinations in India and abroad, has demonstrated the benefits of using technology for the welfare of the people, it added.
