'India Jems and Jewellary Exhibition' raided in AP

Hyderabad, Aug 5 (UNI) Officials of Andhra Pradesh Legal Metrology department today raided the jewellery shops put up at the 'India Jems and Jewellary Exhibition' and registered cases against the owners for using faulty weighing machines.

Based on complaints from customers, the state Legal Metrology department officials, headed by Controller Tejdeep Kaur Menon, raided the jewellary shops at the exhibition at the HITEX centre.

The officials seized 18 faulty weighing machines.
