18 UP tourist injured in road mishap in Punjab

Amritsar, Aug 5 (UNI) Eighteen tourist from UP, including women were injured when their bus overturned near the border village of Attari on NH-1 in the district this evening, police said.

They were returning to Amritsar after witnessing the retreat ceremony at the Wagah joint Indo-Pakistan check post when the accident occured. Overspeeding was said to be the reason for the accident.

The injured were admiited in various hospitals of the city.
