Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu stays put as HP Youth Congress president

Shimla, Aug 4 (UNI) The All India Congress Committee (AICC) and All India Youth Congress (AIYC) have decided that Nadaun legislator will continue to head the Himachal Pradesh unit of the Youth Congress till the state assembly elections.

Mr Sukhu would continue to head the state unit of the Youth Congress until state assembly elections, which are due in February 2008, party spokesman and state Youth Congress and NSUI incharge Kuldeep Singh Rathore said in a release here.

He said Mr Sukhu has been directed to take over the reigns of the Youth Congress until state assembly elections.
