A delegation of the vegetable vendors met Resident Deputy collector Ramesh Kale and briefed them about the various problems faced by the vendors due to the sale of vegetables and fruits at various malls in the city, especially at Reliance Fresh.

The sale of vegetables has affected the sale of these vendors having a negative financial impact on their businesses. This has also reduced the sale of vegetables at the market committees.

Therefore these malls, especially Reliance Fresh should be closed or at least should not sell vegetables and fruits, the delegation told Resident Deputy collector Kale.

The Resident Deputy Collector assured the delegation he would look into the matter and initiate necessary action.
