Pak drug peddler caught at Ganganagar border
Sriganganagar, Aug 3 (UNI) Border Security Force (BSF) has ordered a high-level investigation into security breach after a Pakistani national was caught with two packets of drugs at the Ganganagar district headquarters.
Salim, 22, who hails from Chak 40 in Bahawalnagar district in Pakistan, was caught at Bhagsar border near Kesarisinghpur on Wednesday afternoon.
According to information reaching here, Salim crossed over into Indian side on July 30 with two packets of drugs. He reached Ganganagar and handed over the two packets to Dr Majid who stays near Jama Masjid.
Salim stayed with Dr Majid for two days and later handed him over Rs 70 and said the rest of the money would given to him in Pakistan.
On his way back, Salim accidentally confronted BSF and was caught.
Dr Majid has also been taken into custody.
Describing the infiltration as grave, BSF deputy inspector general Harish Kashyap said probe has already been ordered into the case.
