Manmohan Singh leaves for Delhi after a day's visit to Bangalore
Bangalore, Aug 3 (UNI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who was on a day's visit to the city to review the agricultural and financial scenario of Karnataka left for New Delhi this evening.
He was seen off by Karnataka Governor T N Chaturvedi, Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy, Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Rahman Khan and Union Minister of State for highways K H Muniyappa.
A Host of Civil and Military officials were also present.
Dr Singh arrived in the city in the morning in a special aircraft. Finance Minister P Chidambaram and Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar also accompanied the Prime Minister.
Dr Singh also addressed a meeting of party workers. Later he reviewed the progress made under the Vidharbha type of package and also agricultural situation besides the infrastructure sector.
UNI
