Man gets lifer for killing his wife in Gujarat

Anand, Aug 3: A fast track court here today sentenced a man to life imprisonment for killing his wife last year.

Fifth fast track court judge S I Timbaliya found Vinu Marga Rathod of Ambakhad area in Khambhat city guilty of the crime and awarded the sentence.

Rathod suspecting the fidelity of his wife Sumi killed her on Novermber 4, 2006. A murder complaint was registered by Ravindra Chimanbhai, the victim's relative, at Khambhat town police under Indian Penal Code (IPC) section 302 of the murder, proseuction said.
