Lenova, Disney bring gaming desktops for childern at Rs 40,100
New Delhi, Aug 3 (UNI) Offering a wide array of games and movies targetting the children, Lenovo along with animation giant Disney Consumer Products, today launched a unique product with an entry level price of Rs 40,100.
The limited edition of 'Lenovo 3000 H desktop' features a vibrant red skin with the valiant superheroes of the Mystic Force series.
''Disney is combining cutting-edge technology with fantastic storytelling to create unique entertainment experiences that continue to delight consumers worldwide,'' Disney Consumer Products (India) Director Roshni Bakshi said in a statement here.
The graphic, designed by 3M's technology, 2 ControltacT is both eye catching as well as distinctive, said a company statement.
The red skin forms a colourful and sleek casing around the curves and contours of the PC symmetrically, offering a bubble and wrinkle-free finish.
The desktop comes with a standard 17'' LCD monitor, one GB RAM, 250 GB HDD, 16XDVD +RW drive, in-built modem, Power Ranger branded speakers and an optical mouse.
It is preloaded with Microsoft Vista Home Basic edition and features a special anti-bacterial keyboard from Lenovo.
''This product has all the right elements blended into one -- it's personalised, stylish, fun, and most importantly, offers worry free computing -- for both parents and children,'' Lenovo India Vice President (Marketing) Rahul Agarwal said.
In the first phase, the desktop will be available in six cities -- Mumbai, Lucknow, Kolkata, Bangalore, Chandigarh and Delhi -- from August 6, 2007.
The desktop will soon be available in other parts of the country, the statement said.
