Key cotton price remain flat on moderate spinners' demand

Mumbai, Aug 3 (UNI) Select cotton prices today remained steady on moderate spinners' demand and sufficient stocks, traders at the East India Cotton Association said.

Following are the spot cotton rates per candy (350 kgs) in Rupees: Bengal Desi: 16,200, V-797: 17,000, Karnataka Jayadhar: 16,500, Y-1: 17,800, Punjab J-34: 18,800, NHH-44: 19,500, LRA: 19,200, H-4: Rs 19,700, S-6-A grade: 20,100, Bunny/Brahma: 20,400, MCU-5: Rs 21,400, DCH-32: 32,500, 26-MM: 19,600. Hedge Contract 19,800.
