Four drowned in boat mishap in Motihari

Motihari, Aug 03 (UNI) Altogether four people were drowned when a boat capsized in a flooded lake near Badkabaunsha village under Chakiya police station in East Champaran district today.

Official sources said the boat was ferrying 13 people of which nine swam to safety.

Sources said the mishap occurred as the boat was overloaded.

The victims were on way to Kathariya for collecting fodder.

The bodies were being fished out, sources added.
