Film 'Dard-E-Hindustan' pays tribute to martyrs

Mumbai, Aug 3 (UNI) Bollywood producers Satyen Tandon and Yuvraj Mishra have recorded two patriotic songs for their yet to be released film 'Dard-E- Hindustan' as a tribute to the soldiers, who sacrificed their lives for the nation.

The songs, which would be telecast on Doordarshan on the occasion of 60th year of independence on August 15, have been recorded at Studio Zip-Track in the voices of playback singers Vinod Rathod and Shaan, a release said here.

Director of the film K Nathan has already picturised them, incorporating the shots of great leaders of the nation like Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi and many others along with a special patriotic spirit shoot in Hyderabad. The songs will appear as background songs with special contribution of today's leaders viz UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and is a royal salute to all the soldiers who laid down their lives for the nation.

Shabbir A Surve has penned both the numbers, which are set to tunes by music director Madan Atram, the release adds.
