Erehwon, Wipro to institute biz excellence award

Mumbai, Aug 3: Erehwon Innovation Consulting today announced its partnership with Wipro Technologies for instituting the 'Applied Innovation Awards for Business Excellence'.

A global innovation, the awards are instituted in association with the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP), Information Technology Association of America (ITAA) and Forbes.com as the media partner.

With this Award, we hope to highlight practical examples of innovation in the business environment''.

The Applied Innovation Awards recognizes innovations that infuse newer ideas and newer ways of doing things into all parts of the organization, and improve business outcomes, often without major disruptive change.

As the knowledge partner, Erehwon is responsible for the conceptualization and implementation of the Applied Innovation Awards. This will include nomination management, application process, screening and short listing of finalists along with the jury which will include members from IAOP, ITAA,&other independent thought leaders and innovation experts. The awards are open only for end-user companies&vendors do not qualify to apply.

The winners will be announced at the Wipro-Forbes Innovation Conference and Awards Night on 23rd October 2007 in New York.
