Eicher Motors sales up 9 per cent in July

New Delhi, Aug 3: Truck maker Eicher Motors Ltd today said it sold 2,363 comercial vehicles (CV) in July, registering a growth of nine per cent.

The company's domestic sales increased by 12 per cent to 2,234 units. It's exports fell 22 per cent to 129 units, a company statement said.

''Our growth was across the product range a growth of 12 per cent in L/MCV and 11 per cent in HCV's. These include a 41 per cent growth in passenger segment in Indian market,'' company's Chief Executive (Commercial Vehicle Division) A Ramasubramanian said.

Eicher Motors is involved in the design, manufacture and marketing of commercial vehicles, motorcycles (Royal Enfield), components as well as providing engineering solutions.
