CR to run special trains for Ganpati festival

Mumbai, Aug 3 (UNI) Central Railway today announced it will run 30 'Reserved Specials' and 16 'Unreserved Specials' to cope up with the extra rush of passengers during the Ganpati Festival.

The booking for the reserved special service will be open from August 6 at all railway computerised booking centres, a CR release said here today.

While reserved specials will run between September 12 and 18, and then again between September 22 and 30, the unreserved specials will run between September 12 and 27, however, on alternate days.

Train No 0105 special will leave Dadar at 0035 hrs and will arrive at Madgaon at 1510 hrs on the same day. On its return journey (0106), the special service will leave Madgaon at 1540 hours and will arrive Dadar at 0500 hours next day.

The special service will have two AC-3 tier, 8 Sleeper class, 4 unreserved II Class seating, two unreserved general II class and two unreserved II class seating-cum-luggage van.

Train No 0107 unreserved special will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus at 2355 hrs on September 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24 and 26 and arrive Madgaon at 1400 hrs on the next day.

During its return journey (0108), the unreseved special service will leave Madgaon at 1430 hrs on September 13, 15, 17, 19, 21, 23, 25 and 27 and arrive CST at 0420 hrs next day.

Both the special services will halt at Dadar, Thane, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Khed, Chiplun, Savarde, Aravali Road, Sangameshwar, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Vilawade, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Nandgaon Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi, Madure, Pernem, Thivim and Karmali stations, the release added.
