Two women commit suicide by consuming pesticides

Hubli, Aug 2 (UNI) Two women allegedly committed suicide last night at Belavantar village in Dharwad district.

According to police, the daughter-in-law Manjawwa(20) consumed pesticide before going to sleep last night. On knowing that Manjawwa had committed suicide, her mother-in-law Ningawwa(55)also committed suicide by taking pesticide at her field.

Reason behind these suicides was not immediately known. Senior police officials including Deputy Subinspector Sanikop visited the spot.
