Three die of unknown disease

Raisen, MP, Aug 2 (UNI) Three people of a family have died of unknown disease at Barkheda village, about 70 km from district headquarters, in the past three days.

Sub-Divisional Magistrate Vikas Mishra said Chhote Khan's wife Salma (50) died on July 30, while his son Arbaaz (8) passed away yesterday.

His daughter Nazneen (6) died today.

All the three died at home.

Chhote Khan and his another son were unwell and were admitted to hospital.

Mr Mishra said water from hand-pump was examined and was found to be suitable. No symptoms of the disease were found among other villagers.

It was being expected that Chhote and his family would have consumed contaminated food.
