Shatrughan Sinha to be awarded Kishore Kumar award

Indore, Aug 2 (UNI) Bollywood star Shatrughan Sinha will be awarded the prestigious Kishore Kumar award by the Madhya Pradesh Government for his contribution to the film industry.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will present the award to Sinha at a grand function to be held at Kishore Kumar's birthplace Khandwa.

Khandwa Collector S B Singh said a two-day programme has been organised as a part of the ceremony.

Dr Krishna Agnihotri, Dr Sriram Parihar, Mr Sugan Chourasia and Mr Vinay Uppadhyay would take part in the discussion during 'Kishore Vimarsh' session on the morning of August 4.

During the second part of the session during afternoon, Dr Ajatshatru, Mr Pankajram, Mr Vinod Bharadwaj and Mr Kailash Mandalekar will take part.

In the award ceremony during night, noted singer Bhupendra and Mitali Singh would present light music.

On the second day, Mr Jaiprakash Choukse, Mr Sriram Tamrakar, Mr Prahlad Agrawal and Professor Rajendra Mishra would discuss aspects of Kishore's acting.

In the last session, Mr Vinod Tiwari, Mr Manmohan Chaddha and Mr Govind Gunjan would take part.
