Raids reveal Rs 1.5 cr assets with govt engineer

Hyderabad, Aug 2 (UNI) ACB sleuths today raided the house of a Irrigation official in the posh Banjara Hills of this city and seized assets worth 1.5 crore assets, which were disproportionate to his known sources of income.

According to an ACB release here, Mekala Satti Reddy, an Executive Engineer in the Irrigation Department, had several buildings in this city and house sites in Nalgonda District apart from bank deposits. The raids still were continuing till late evening.

In another raid on the residence of Sudhakar who was working as Divisional Engineer in the same department, the ACB found he had three house sites, three houses in Warangal and several bank accounts.
