Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 2 (UNI) Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chairman Abdul Nasser Maudhany today reiterated his party would continue to support the ruling CPI(M)-led Left Democratic Front (LDF) Government in Kerala.

''As the LDF Government has favourably considered the demands of the PDP and it is also working for the welfare of the common man. It is not the time for a re-think about its support to the government,'' he said while addressing a public meeting here tonight.

Mr Maudhany, who was acquitted of all charges in the sensational 1998 Coimbatore Serial Bomb Blasts cases by a Special Court yesterday, said he learned so many lessons during his nine-year stay in the Coimbatore Jail and would never make provocative speeches supposed to harm to communal harmony.

However, he clarified, his fight against injustice and for uplift of downtrodden would continue. But the style of criticism would change, he added.

A civic reception was accorded to him here in connection with his release from jail.

Kerala Home Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, Education Minister M A Baby and Water Resources Minister N K Premachandran also attended in the function.
