Orisa resident among 2 killed, 6 injured in Kashmir
Srinagar, Aug 2 (UNI) A labourer from Orisa was among two people killed and six others wounded in the Kashmir valley overnight, a police spokesman said.
He said a vehicle overturned near army camp at Langate in the frontier district of Kupwara today resulting in injuries to three persons.
The injured were rushed to hospital where one Mubeena, daughter of Ghulam Mohammad Chopan died.
He said one Jaggan Nath Lohar, son of Madhu Sudan Lohar, resident of Tadapati, Orisa, working as a labourer with M/S GRH construction company Shrai at Tangmarg was killed.
Four persons were injured and a cow was killed when a power transmission line collapsed at Seer in Anantnag district. The injured including two women were hospitalised with burn injuries.
