Nitish condoles death of JD(U) MP Ajit Kr Singh

New Delhi, Aug 2 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today condoled the death of Janata Dal (United) MP Ajit Kumar Singh and said that it was not only a loss for his party and the state but for the cooperative movement in the country.

Mr Kumar, who returned here today from Mauritius, said that he was highly perturbed and sorrowful due to the sad demise of Mr Singh. He said the void created due to the death of the NAFED chairman could not be filled for a long time.

In view of the grim flood situation in Bihar, the Chief Minister immediately went back to Patna.
