Hindustan Dorr bags Rs 70 cr construction order

New Delhi, Aug 2: Hindustan Dorr Oliver Ltd (HDOL) today said its environmental division has bagged an order worth Rs 70 crore for design, engineering and construction of an effluent treatment plant for Bharat Oman Refineries Ltd (BORL) coming up in BINA-Madhya Pradesh.

The order will consist of installing latest technologies in environmental engineering including the membrane of the bio-reactor, which will be installed for the first time in any refinery effluent treatment plant in India, a statement said.

Hindustan Dorr has tied up with reputed foreign companies in such technologies, and will complete the project within 16 months, it informed.

The company has also recently bagged a similar order for a value of Rs 85 crore from Indian Oil Corporation Ltd for their Haldia Refinery.

Hindustan Dorr's order book position with the above order stands close to Rs 330 crore as on August 1, 2007.

HDOL, owned by the Hyderabad-based, infrastructure major, IVRCL Group is an engineering solutions provider in the field of pulp and paper, fertilisers, minerals beneficiation and all kinds of water and waste treatment plants.
