Fortis Escorts Hospital inaugurated in Jaipur today
Jaipur, Aug 2 (UNI) Fortis Health Care Limited, a Ranbaxy promoted group company and one of the largest health care companies in India today announced the launch of its 12th chain of hospital here today.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje today inaugurated the state-of-the art world class health care facility.
Spread over 6.68 acres with an investment of Rs.110 crore, it will have 150 patient bed with capacity to go up to 350 beds.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje said the government have received potential investment proposal worth Rs 2500 crore in the health sector in the state and is under the active consideration of the government. The Chief minister emphasised the need for public private partnership to provide quality health care to all and called for the penetration of medical insurance to meet the increasing cost of health care.
The chief minister claimed that the telemedcine project underway in the state is the first of its kind in the country and Rajasthan holds tremendous scope for medico tourism, with coming up of world class health care facilities.
Speaking on the occassion Shivinder Mohan Singh CEO&MD Fortis said the hospital will replicate its centre of excellance model. He said the hospital will provide comprehensive medcial facility with focus on cardiac sciences, Neuro science, renal science and gastrointestinal diseases. Apart from that the hospital will provide high quality services in mother and child care, orthopaedics and a complete range of multi speciality services in all disciplines.
He said as accuracy in dignostics is critical to the doctor's diagnosis and treatment, Fortis has provided for the best imaging, radiology and pathology facilities.
