Examination of witnesses in Mahajan case put off till Aug 13
Mumbai, Aug 2 (UNI) Examination of witnesses in the Pramod Mahajan murder case has been put off till August 13.
When the court today commenced examination of a witness, a police constable, the defence took objection saying the statement of the witness had not been recorded by the police and, so, he cannot be examined.
The defence said the statement of the second witness, called today, had also not been recorded.
Additional sessions judge S P Davare asked the defence to submit a written objection. The court, thereafter, adjourned the matter till August 13.
The police constable who had been called to testify today, had taken finger impressions of accused Praveen Mahajan. The other witness is a photographer.
