Council members can take oath from Dy Chairman

Hyderabad, Aug 2 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Governor Rameswar Thakur has appointed Mr Mohammad Jani, chosen as the Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Council, to be the person before whom members of the council should take oath in the temporary absence of the Chairman for any reason.

The Council had chosen Mr Jani as the Deputy Chairman on July 24, according to an official release.
