Cong complains to Lokayukta against MP Minister
Bhopal, Aug 2 (UNI) The Congress' Madhya Pradesh unit has lodged a 225-page complaint to Lokayukta against the then Indore Mayor Kailash Vijayvargiya, now the state Public Works Minister, allegedly giving undue benefit to a company.
''Congress state spokesman K K Mishra submitted, to Lokayukta Ripusudan Dayal, documentary evidence of Mr Vijayvargiya and two corporation officials for hatching a criminal conspiracy for benefitting M/s Rajdeep Infrastructure,'' said a party release issued here today.
Mr Mishra alleged that the contract -- awarded for 18-and-a-half years for making road indicators, traffic indicators and a footbridge on BOT basis -- would earn merely Rs 2.16 crore for the municipal corporation but about Rs 100 crore for the company.
