Hyderabad, Aug 2 (UNI) Expressing solidarity with the Left parties here, spearheading struggle for land to the poor in Andhra Pradesh, comrades from West Bengal and Kerala will visit the city to intensify the stir against the Congress Government.

A delegation from Kerala would visit here on August 4, while comrades from West Bengal would join the stir on August 7, CPI State Secretary K Narayana told reporters.

The meeting of the Left parties decided to continue with their stir of planting red flags in government ''Poramboke'' lands and lands encroached by influential people for distribution among the poor.

Condemning the Mudigonda police firing, which left seven people dead and the alleged efforts of the government to suppress their stir in a 'crude manner' by foisting 'attempt to murder case' against party activists in Mudigonda, the meeting decided to collect donations from the public in the state from August 4 to help the families of those killed in the police firing.

The Left alleged that the Congress was making ''jittery'' attempts to tarnish the image of their leaders.

The Left had decided to hold a protest week, all over the state in the second week of August and organise meetings in all the districts to prepare the poor people for protracted struggle.

The meeting was attended by the representatives of the CPI, CPI(M), CPI(ML), Marxist Communist Party of India(United) and CPI(ML) Liberation.
