Bank of India ties up with Franklin Templeton
Mumbai, Aug 2 (UNI) In a move to offer various financial products to its customer base and retail investors, Bank of India has entered into a strategic alliance with private sector fund house Franklin Templeton Investments (India) to distribute its mutual fund products across India.
The duo today signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) under which Bank of India will offer the entire bouquet of Franklin Templeton Investment products through its branches, the bank said in a statement.
Executive Director of the bank K. R. Kamath said, ''The present tie-up with Franklin Templeton Investments is a initiative for offering various financial products to our customers.'' The bank has been pursuing distribution of mutual fund products as an important source of earning valuable fee income and has already tied up with 4 mutual fund companies. Kamath added.
